A 10-year+ brand platform positioning QUT as The University for the Real World.
The Challenge
The foundations of the QUT brand as we know it today were established two decades ago by BCM. As The University for the Real World, QUT needed to hold its position strong while evolving at the same pace as the real world itself. The challenge was maintaining discipline and consistency across every expression of the brand, ensuring QUT and its positioning statement remained relevant to generations of school leavers, postgraduate prospects and industry partners.
The Solution
The brand was built on a disciplined, long-term approach to positioning and execution. Every person representing the brand exercised consistency in how the platform was applied, allowing the brand to evolve creatively without losing its core meaning. This commitment to the brand and the way it is executed has ensured QUT's positioning remains strong, relevant and distinctive across channels and over time.
